Welcome to the Exeter British Motorcycle Club meets at the ' Poltimore Arms', Pinhoe, Exeter on the second Thursday in each month for meetings, talks and discussions. Club 'Runs' (exclusively for British Motorcycles only) take place on Tuesday evenings and on Sunday mornings. Runs normally start at 'The Imperial Hotel', Exeter. However some runs his year will he starting at other points, this is to assist those members and guests who live outside of Exeter. The club's annual run, 'The Exe Valley Run' takes place on 29th June 2008. The run travels through some of the most stunning Devon countryside for a pub lunch stop at Dulverton Exmoor. | [Club Rule 19] The question of what is considered a suitable motorcycle for club members is a very critical and sensitive issue. This club has been formed on the basis that members support'British' motorcycles. This means that when representing the club on runs and rallies, only 'British' motorcycles will be accepted. The committee will decide on what qualifies as a 'British Motorcycle'. (The only exception to this rule is that on our annual runs i.e. Exe Valley Run, marshals are permitted to ride any make of motorcycle). |
